Attention deficit disorder (ADHD) is a neurobiological disorder that also affects young children, presenting difficulties predominantly in attention and behavior, especially due to their hyperactivity. Intelligence has usually been conceived in a linear way. However, the theory of multiple intelligences by Howard Gardner - an American psychologist - proposes a more holistic vision, in which intelligence manifests itself multilaterally. This article addresses the relationship between some types of intelligence and ADHD, seeking to understand how the strengths and weaknesses in each of them can effectively influence the modification of the manifestations and management of this disorder in childhood. translating these modifications into educational intervention strategies.
