THE HUMANITARIAN AND INSTITUTIONAL CRISIS OF FORCED MIGRATION SEEN FROM THE NEO-MARXIST PERSPECTIVE
Keywords:
crisis; emancipation; forced migration; marxist perspectiveAbstract
The humanitarian and institutional crisis caused by forced migration as seen from the Marxist perspective would propose to explain this phenomenon as a developmental strategy imposed by the capitalist system in order to expand its hegemony in a macro-regional context, together with public policies implemented by individual States that intervene in these human displacements to gain control over these migrants an industrial and convert them into what could be referred to as a reserve army. Therefore, this dialectical perspective seeks to systematize everything that fosters the migration of workers through the processes of economic integration and capital production chains, especially through the destruction of basic means of subsistence and productive activities in communities of origin, constrained by the reconfiguration of internal markets. But this Marxist dialectical method is not without conceptual problems that must be dealt with, especially in regards to the new generation of neo-Marxists, since an important part of science is based on questioning that should be recognized and reflected upon for conducting future research that explores this same Marxist theoretical line.
