The main proposal of this study is to share the preliminary results of a research project aimed at designing a psychopedagogical strategy for inclusive care at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Guayaquil. The sample consisted of students identified with special educational needs in the 2024-2025 academic year, Cycle II. The Raven Progressive Matrices Test, in its advanced version (Netherlands), was administered to identify cognitive profiles and specific difficulties in solving visual-spatial problems. The main findings allow for an approach toward a pedagogical strategy aimed at strengthening teacher support and improving the educational experience of these students. The research seeks to lay the bases for a more inclusive academic practice adapted to the specific needs of students with special educational needs in the university context.
